And here is a Chinese gecko - what a cute little chappie:

Or how about this rather splendidly acrobatic Changeable lizard, Calotes versicolor, which steadfastly refused to move all evening:

And finally, a flutterby:

This is, I think, a Great mormon but I need to check. It was hanging on a bush, soaking wet at 9pm, totally oblivious to the barrage of flashguns.
So a testing evening for moths but highly productive anyway. Enjoy.

Just returned from Spain, and thought you might enjoy this stork captured in Ciudad Rodrigo, near the Portuguese border: C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\AAFHTJ1B\Spain2007060[1].jpg
Sorry Hugh, this seems to be a link to your C drive ;-(
Thanks for being so nice about my non-existent technical skills! If you can bare to trawl through the holiday snaps, or you can just fast-forward, the stork is no. 5 (out of 24) here: http://rebeccaplk.spaces.live.com/
Very nice trip and excellent stork picture. I have visited places like Toledo (Lesser kestrels in the tower), the Gredos mountains (cold!) and of course Donana. Spain is a beautiful country if you ignore the expat Brits.
I love the real toad in the hole - was he stopped there or did you catch him moving?
He was out and about and when he noticed people he legged it for a drainage hole!
